FROM 3 JULY, THE PANTHEON IN ROME WILL BE PAID FOR.
From July 3, a paid ticket will be required to visit the Pantheon in Rome.
According to the provisions of the agreement signed between the Ministry of Culture and the Chapter of the Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres-Pantheon, the entrance ticket to the Pantheon complex will have an amount not exceeding 5 euros and will only be permitted outside the hours reserved for liturgical functions and pastoral activities, so that the exercise of worship inside the basilica is safeguarded. Free admission is also provided for residents of the capital.
In this month, the Ministry of Culture expects to conclude the technical steps necessary to allow visitors to purchase them.
The entrance ticket can be purchased online through the Ministry’s platform or directly at the ticket counter in front of the monument, using cash or electronic payment.
